- Being a Graduate from Delhi University, having contributed his services in University Grants Commission for about 36 years, he has worked in the following capacities at the UGC and other bodies:
- Coordination & Development Division
- Foreign Exchange Department
- College Development Division
- International Cooperation Division
- Administration Division
- Mass communication
- Technology & Management Division
- Public Accounts Committee
- Parliament Standing Committee
- Member secretary for Central/State’s Universities for their Financial Assessment during 10th Plan Period
- Member Secretary for many Important Committees for the UGC
- Additional Charge as Media Coordinator for UGC
- Has an active liaison with various Central/States Universities & reputed Colleges including Delhi Colleges & served on important committees such as CAS, Self Financing Courses, Autonomous Colleges, Finance Committees, Dual Degree, Enquiry committees & assisted UGC as well as Colleges / Universities in Budget Formulation, under major schemes of that period.
- After superannuation, served as Media Coordinator for UGC for organizing the Award Ceremony – Single Girl Child Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Scholarship/ Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders on 19th November 2005 held at Vighyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
- Served Government of India at Defence Accounts Department, as Auditor from 1967-69.
- Teaching, Counseling Mathematics & Science since 1964 at Higher Secondary Level. (Taught students individually of most of the reputed Public & Convent Schools as well as from other section of Society in Delhi)
